GLASGOW WARRIORS – FAMILY FUN DAY and TOUCH RUGBY TOURNAMENT, SATURDAY 24 JULY 2010

Glasgow Warriors invite you once again to participate in our annual Warriors Touch Rugby Tournament which this year will be held at our new state of the art training venue, Scotstoun Stadium. The event will take place on Saturday 24th July from 11:30am until 5:30pm.

After the success of our previous tournaments, this invitation is open to all clubs in Glasgow and the west, the first 24 clubs that reply will be involved on the day to kick start the new rugby season. We all know how beneficial touch is for fitness and skills and judging by previous years, the competitive element is not far from the surface either, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment.

Warriors players will once again referee the matches throughout the afternoon so feel free to use and abuse them!

Once you have sent in your completed form you will receive a confirmation email notifying you we have received it. Once all teams have entered each team will receive all the information they will need to know to allow the day to run smoothly, this will include fixture details. Complimentary tickets to the Warriors pre-season friendly against English Premiership side Sale Sharks, to be played on Friday 21st August at Firhill, will be given to all who participate (teams can request up to 14 tickets on their registration forms)

To make this a great day for all the family and the rugby community, we will be combining the Touch Tournament with a Warriors Family Fun Day so there will also be lots of entertainment on the day for all ages as well as the opportunity for everyone to explore our new facilities. Full details of what is happening on the day will follow shortly.
