GHK RFC

A warm welcome awaits all players, members (old and new) and visitors to Old Anniesland, the home of GHK RFC. Whether you and your family are just starting out at mini rugby, progressing through midi/junior level or keen to play (or watch) a highly attractive brand of senior rugby, our top quality coaches and extensive facilities cater for all.

Old Anniesland boasts 5 pitches (3 floodlit) an Astroturf training pitch and the magnificent Jimmie Ireland Stand in which you will find full gym facilities. Our senior teams have dedicated coaches led by Head Coach Kenny Hamilton, including Rob Holdsworth, Liam McIntyre, Charlie Dunlop, Mike Gribben, Henry Gray and Glenn Woolard.

Last season our 1st XV finished 3rd in Nat.League Division 3, having just been promoted to this league in the previous season. Under the SRU's league reorganisation to a regional structure GHK  1st XV will play season 2011/12 in the newly created RBS West League Division 1.GHK 2nd XV will now play in RBS Reserve League West 1.

A GHK squad of 25 players played outstanding rugby on the Club's very successful end of season tour to Colorado. Winning three from three, the exceptional camaraderie within the squad bodes well for Captain Danny Hoffmann and the team for the forthcoming season.
